Born and raised in Ghana (West Africa), at the time and in an environment where creativity was essential as a child to keep one’s self entertained, I developed a passion for the arts through drawing and wood carving.
When I moved to the United States at the age of 17, and not having accessibility to the types of wood and tools I was accustomed to using (due to the difference in environments), for the next two years I turned my creativity towards vocational graphic arts. I fell in love with the photographic aspect of graphic arts after being handed a 35mm camera for my first assignment, and even more so once I learned to develop my own images. It was magic, and a new passion was born in me that stands true today.
Photography has become an integral part of my life. I enjoy the beauty of nature in landscapes and the joy it brings to people when stunning images of themselves are captured through the lens.
